I came upon this boot in the window of the Christian Louboutin shop on Horatio at Greenwich. Even I, whose taste in boots runs mostly to cracked men’s Redwings with the toes busted out of them, began breathing heavily when I spotted them across the street. They’re shaped so precisely that they produce the effect of a platonic ideal of a foot. This photo is a poor substitute. Go see them for yourself.
