Rode the 38 out to the end of the line to get some water out of the Pacific for the show. Passed my old neighborhood and made the long walk down the hill past the Cliff House to the beach. In the evening M and I went to my old friends Renny and Judy’s house in the Oakland hills for dinner and reminiscences. Their new place is a sanctuary, pure and simple, with a deck that overlooks the entire Bay and yet is still spectacularly quiet. We watched the lights come on, while drinking tea.

The gallery already has a digital recap of the show up. That was fast. I want to spend some time sitting with the work a bit more before tonight’s event.
