Art date…

I realized that the guy I invited out on a date, who countered by suggesting we go see the Poiret show at the Met was never going to come through and besides I wanted to continue my pattern of art viewing on the weekends, so I hauled myself off to the Museum instead. I spent a little more time there than I ntended, but that was because there’s yet another renovation going on so getting to where you want to go is not as simple as you would think. The new Greek and Roman reinstallation is very good, especially the Roman, and the Neo Rauch show was impressive. On the whole I was paying attention to sculpture rather than painting, with decorative arts a close second.

It was raining when I left so I hopped on the bus, rode downtown, got myself a salad and went to the gym.
