I exited the subway at Chirstopher Street to the sounds of yelling and chanting, and found myself in the misdt of a flock of people waving placards. Some Spitzer related freakout? An ACTUP revival? Sadly no, just some more odious “viral marketing”. Two skimpy crowds of shills shouted and giggled bacjk and forth for a while across the traffic of Seventh Avenue, and I tried to guess what carrot had they been offered to induce them to spend their friday afternoon thusly. Ultimately, my lack of curiosity got the better of me, and I walked off to shop for new spectacles.
